Donald Trump thought Rihanna's performance was trash at the Superbowl.... Your thoughts?

Updated: Feb 16, 2023

Per Jimmy Kimmel, it was report that "Trump accused the singer of using “foul and insulting” language, possibly in reference to the 2020 incident in which Rihanna was seen posing in front of a spray-painted art installation. The centerpiece of the installation was a car that had the words “Fuck Trump” painted on it."

Firstly, it's important to note that music is subjective, and everyone has different tastes and preferences when it comes to performances. While some people may have enjoyed Rihanna's halftime show, others may have had a different opinion, and that is perfectly okay. However, it's not uncommon for high-profile celebrities to be criticized by others, and it's not surprising that Donald Trump has voiced his negative opinion on Rihanna's performance.

It's also worth noting that Rihanna is a highly accomplished artist, with a massive fan following and numerous accolades to her name. Her talent and success speak for themselves, and her performance at the Super Bowl was just one small part of her impressive career.

Her accomplishments are extensive:

  • Winning nine Grammy Awards and dozens of other music awards for her albums and singles, including "Umbrella," "Diamonds," and "Work."

  • Selling over 250 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

  • Becoming the youngest solo artist to score 14 No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

  • Being named by Forbes as one of the wealthiest self-made women, with a net worth of over $600 million.

  • Winning various awards for her acting roles, including a BET Award for Best Actress for her role in "Battleship."

  • Creating her own beauty and fashion brands, including Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty, which have received critical acclaim and commercial success.

  • Using her platform and voice to advocate for various social and political causes, such as education, health, and justice reform.

Ultimately, it's not productive to engage in negativity and criticism towards other people, and it's important to recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into creating and performing music. It's also essential to respect other people's opinions and tastes, as everyone has the right to their own preferences.

While Donald Trump's opinion may be just that, an opinion, and Rihanna's performance may not have been to his liking, it does not diminish the fact that she is a successful and talented artist who has achieved much in her career. At the end of the day, the Super Bowl performance was just one small part of her overall legacy, and she has undoubtedly left a significant mark in the music industry.

Anyways... here is clip from Jimmy Kimmel on Rihanna at the super bowl if you haven't seen it yet.

What Dreana thinks about it?

"I think Rihanna had an amazing performance. It showed why she is Rihanna. 15 min of number 1 hits, I couldn’t have asked for more."
